Until now I haven't realized that even calm Quatre can be such a great main chara. Each person's role is carefully and perfectly designed and even the OCs are perfectly fitting. The flow of the plot is also very fluid with the right length at the right places. I also like the many details you spent on everyday's life in this world and the many facts and traditions were really fascinating.

ouch. do you think heero would let anyone hurt duo even if duo deserved it or hurt them first?

then why would trowa allow heero to do what he wanted to quatre if duo inadvertantly was hurt. it obviously wouldn't be intentional. it's kinda sad. but it is obvious that heero loves duo more fiercely than anything. pity trowa won't show quatre the same.

duo and heero's relationship seems a bit one-sided. duo is the slave, but it seems that heero's far more dependent on him, loves him more. duo doesn't even seem to care about his fidelity to him; physically hurting him yes, and he's grateful, but other than that...

meh, maybe it's just the last few chappies. would think it was important though.

i think heero would have had a bigger problem with the sex thing. i mean, that duo would be more upset for having to cheat on him then stabbing him when trapped in a hallucination. at least the stabbing he had no conscious part it. he hardly seemed guilty at all for letting someone else touch him. he even claimed to like it. yes, the physical sensation might have been enjoyable, but i'd think having someone other than heero touching him would have made it bad for him, at least psychologically, if he really loved him. instead his main complaint was the guards watching and that it wasnt' fair on quatre.

i thought wufei wasn't in love with his wife, or didnt' know? then he calls her his first love. that always confused me. take duo and heero for instance. they care so deeply and entirely for each other it's obvious death wouldn't keep them from each other, or stop being loyal to just each other. i like how you show their relationship, in any case.

i know the sentiments on slavery and people aren't that wrong (historically), but it does seem quite ooc for the characters. for example, for heero to think that way and for duo to acquiesce. there were some people (slave owners included) that didn't actually view people as trained monkeys or chattle.

Oh wow... what a place to leave off! I've been GLUED to this fic for the last two days! So much so that I've been reading it on my PHONE at work when no one was looking. Please please please please PLEASE... would you continue this? This fic is just TOO good to not have an ending.
