I really enjoyed your story. Francis is a favorite of mine, too, and it was fun read a story about him. Writing it from Dulcey's point of view was a good idea. Another woman would be more likely to see through Samantha than the men. I hope you do more Cimarron Strip stories.

I see you are sticking with telling your story strictly from Dulcey's perspective. You may want someone to explain to the reader how Jim and Mac' got rescued, as their rescue appears to be your story's 'climax'. Perhaps Francis could let her know when he meets up with her in the barn?
