| timano 7/1/10 . chapter 35
Wow! One of the best fanfics I've ever read! Giving this story a 10 out of 10 stars would be vastly underrating it. I'd rate it 100 out of 10 stars! (Don't talk to me about fractions now!)
| timano 7/1/10 . chapter 16
Of all your surprising chapter endings (and there have been many!) this is perhaps the biggest shock of all! Well, I suspected it was the Doctor toward the very end of the chapter, but it took me by surprise anyway. I love this story so far, and am off to read the rest now!
| Laura Harkness 4/29/10 . chapter 35
the epilogue with jack made my heart skip a beat.
and icy indeed to say this:
"Thanks, Doctor, I've been there, done that. Anyway, you're too...dangerous."
i guess it is true in your universe, but happily not in mine!
lovely story with a happy ending. thanks. you did good.
| Laura Harkness 4/29/10 . chapter 34
i loved this:
The Doctor smiled. "Anni, I promise you this. Whatever else happens, you are not going to die."
it made me cry.
| Laura Harkness 4/29/10 . chapter 33
oh geez. a hand short...
i loved the pace of this. it is really exciting. a great action chapter. good work.
incidentally, i've been putting off reading the last few chapters, but i guess the time has come. dang. can i talk you into doing another long story? it is great fun to read, at least.

I did take a look at your other stories with Kim, and have been following this one pretty avidly. You did an amazing job of setting up conflict, twisting the plot, and generally keeping me offguard the entire time. LOVE the way everything ties together so perfectly at the end with everything all back to normal. Love it. Congrats on completing such a long and wonderful story!

Absolutely fantastic. I tend not to enjoy Doc fan fics because it's so hard to have a story as believably timey wimey or as funny.
But you managed it.
I loved every bit of it, and I just read the whole thing in one go.

hahah! THat was a nice ending... very tidy... very calm... soothing, even, in the way that watching the un-tide on a quiet sea beach is soothing... I Likies!
| teddybowties 4/21/10 . chapter 34
poor anni.. poor Doctor... poor Kim... seeing a relative just... unexist lke that...
| teddybowties 4/20/10 . chapter 32
AH DOCTOR! AH! Damn good.
| Laura Harkness 4/18/10 . chapter 32
wow. good writing. totally gripping and, need i say, disturbing?
i liked the "strange... strange... strange... strangest of all" bit. i try to do that kind of thing myself but usually fail miserably. i get it in my head to try something clever but what i imagine never quite materializes; the end of chapter 23 of 'scars' is an example. hmm... i wonder if i'd used italics... ;-)
| Laura Harkness 4/16/10 . chapter 31
oh! incredibly clever! the reapers... very, very good.
and i have to admit - i keep wondering about jack. for a bit i thought maybe the savant was him... but i don't think the doctor could have hidden that fact.
sigh. now i'm caught up (and just in time to run to my volunteer shift at the wildlife rescue place).
| Laura Harkness 4/16/10 . chapter 30
oh! hero doctor:
"You'll have to come through me first," said the Doctor, dangerously,
and my impression of stovold has definitely NOT improved...
| Laura Harkness 4/16/10 . chapter 29
whew! what an unsavory character you've devised here.
nice coleridge quote! impressive...
| Laura Harkness 4/16/10 . chapter 28
really nice descriptions.
my favorite word: coy. not a word i see very much. a very nice word indeed.
