This is such a nice story! I like the way you used only dialogue to convey everything, and let the reader figure out who was who. I laughed when Watson came in the room - how blunt of Mycroft to say, basically, "Oh! Hi! We were talking about you behind your back, Watson."

This was amazing! I loved how even though this was all dialogue, we readers can still so perfectly picture the setting, their mannerisms, the occasional scowl. Having an oblivious Watson coming in at the end was the perfect finish to the banter between a smug Mycroft and a sullen Sherlock.

HAHAHA this is adorable. I am a big Holmes fan and this made me smile.

Might I suggest you watch the BBC's new series, SHERLOCK? It is RIPE with moments one doesn't even need slash goggles for, and the resulting fan community has exploded over it. Amazing, amazing characterization and a fantastic update to modern times that even the most serious Holmes fans have supported. Your little ficlet reminded me of the series, and I think it is something that might spark your curiosity. It's excellent television.

So, I finally got around to watching that Sherlock Holmes movie, nearly laughed my head off at the so obvious homoerotic undertones.
