I think Eddie boy needs to lay off the sauce, apparently it's making him a bit slow. I'm glad that you aren't going to drag out the reveal for too long, I was afraid that he would come back, ask no questions and move on get engaged THEN run into Bella and start figuring everything else out. I don't mind "homewrecker" Bella, but if it can be avoided I'm down with that. Although I really don't know what you have planned so I could just be ramming my foot down my throat, LOL! Only time will tell, well that and future chapters! Great job!

It might not have been so bad if he hadn’t drawn little flowers, rainbows, and unicorns all over it. Only Jasper. When he finally picked me out of the crowd he squealed like a fan girl, shouting my name at the top of his lungs. I laughed at him and squirmed when he rushed towards me, almost tackling me to the ground in his effort to hug me.”

HAHAH! Love it!

Why did Jasper get mad about Edward seeing Bella? Was it anger FOR Edward... like knowing E would get depressed and sad and didn’t want to see his friend like that? OR is Jasper protecting Bella? OR does Jasper know more because Alice told him and Jasper was worried about what Edward knew? OR is it just because Bella didn’t want Edward to find her and then Edward had to ‘snoop’ though their wedding invites to find her address (but then Jazz got mad before he found out how Edward got the address)? I’m just confused why Jasper's first reaction was anger...

Hmm...I’m leaning towards Jasper knowing and Alice telling him. Therefore, Jasper is worried about Edward then? not really ‘mad’ at him for seeing Bella? I don’t know... I’m sure it’ll be explain as more info is reveal. hah!

I’m, also, wondering because if (and when) Edward finds out that Alice knew (and most likely Jasper) he’ll be a little ticked off. Or... at least I expect him to be... maybe not.

That is the first part I’ve let the alt ending creep back into my thoughts... he wasn’t angry when he found out there, but you may have just done that bc it was a one chapter alt ending... you may decide to change his reaction. Because even if Bella’s reasoning makes sense, Edward would still have a right to be upset...PLUS, you said this continuation will be totally different than the alt ending. Perhaps, for now, those of us that read the alt ending should just forget we did? haha!

YUP! Jasper definitely knows more than he is (trying to) lead on. That imagine of Edward collapsing on his knee... so sad.

LOL...I was thinking the same thing. Like... ‘I’m surprise Edward hasn’t just snapped at Jasper to tell him already.’

YUP! Definitely going to love this story. I feel so bad for Edward... I just want to reach out and give him a big hug. I’m happy he has Jasper to be there for him (whether Jasper knows more than he’s revealed or not)... it’s good Edward has someone he can confined in and rely on. It’s going to be an interesting convo with Alice and Edward. I wonder what the interaction is going to be like. Angry Alice? Apologetic Alice? Withholding Alice? Hmm... so many options!

I don't really know why, but the whole 'man whore' thing doesn't really bother me too much. Probably because of the circumstances. Not that it excuses him, etc... It just doesn't piss me off as much as it normally would. ALSO, maybe because it seems like it's in the past...

Oh, I love this update! I read the original one shot and the HEA, of course, and fell in love with your story. I'm so glad you're continuing.

I love Edward but part of me wants to hit him upside the head. So he figures Bella's son is about 3 to 4 years old. He knows there wasn't much time after they broke up for her to meet someone else and have a baby with them. He knows she didn't cheat on him while they were together, and Jasper just told him that she doesn't date. EVER. Hmm... And he's still wondering who the kid's father is? SMACK! (LOL!) You'd think he'd at least wonder about the possibility of being the father.

Anyway, even with that, I loved it and I cried when Edward broke down in front of Jasper. I felt his agony. I can't wait for his talk with Alice.

I love how you've developed Japser's character! Quirky Jaspers my favy. But I'm looking really really forward towards Edward's discovery! Took him a while to do Jasper's hints. I think it may take him a tad longer to clue in on EC... I mean finding a mystery child that shares your own flesh and blood would be something so out there that it wouldn't even be considered. When should we expect an update? I can't wait! I loved this chapter!
