That was great...

because the emotional relationship that was building between darien and claire came about because of the counter agent...due to the fact that it was keeping him a live it inevitably made claire the most important person in his life...

Her being his keeper...having his life in her hands...it's an intimate burden for her carry...which creates some heavy emotional moments but i'm not sure it's necessarily romantic...They definitely care about each other...but I wouldn't say it was brother/sister either...It's just like they're stuck together and both of them are connected because of it.

This story did an awesome of job of exploring that patient/doctor connection.

I really do love this story. I think it's beautifully written, and I've nominated it for the Quicksilver Fan Fiction Awards. Good luck and congratulations on your great writing!

While I object to Darien Claire pairings on medical ethics grounds, this is spectacular. And I do so wish you were still writing Iman. Sigh. I first encountered this at a half-finished stage and wasn't aware you're reposted the finished version. after 'waterfall' I had to go looking for more (you evil woman, you), and lucked onto this one.

I guess there's not much point in begging, but I'd be a happy camper if you ever take up writing in the IMan realms again. ;D

That was...wow. Excellent use of imagery, perfect banter. The feel of the story was that it could be an *episode*, and that's not something that many stories accomplish, even if they get the characters' voices down. So in my view? This story's *canon*.
