I always see this story's sequel on the front page when I shift around for fics to read and finally decided to settle down with this one first.

I've been breezing through the first 8 chapters so fast, I didn't want to stop for a review. I wanted to keep reading.

This story is fantastic. I feel like you have the characters down very well - while putting your own spin on how they would react post-RFB.

I can't wait to finish this and go on to the next story.

Just a small thing, you switch POVs mid-chapter. Just something to watch out for.

So I know this fic has been over and done with for a while and my criticism will probably fall on deaf ears, but I'll offer it anyway.

I think you're selling the story short by muddling it with too much exposition. You have so many ideas here that would create powerful scenes, but we receive all the information second hand from the narrator. Show, don't tell!

"I think he wants the ending he got robbed of. The ending where he dies bloody and heart-shattered and avenged and lovesick. All the elements of his life thrown up in the air and scattered like rice at a wedding."

What a perfect image. I love it. Personally, I think you should have ended the paragraph after this sentence. Everything else feels like overkill.
