This was absolutely... woah.
I don't think I've ever found such a well written fanfiction - you should invest your time in an origional story (though I hope you stick to AC). I love this and it was an instant favorite!

The way you described the loss of Altaïr was so deep (that sounds cliché, I know) and it truly made the reader feel what Malik was feeling - angry and pained, worried and tired.

The fact that you took so much care in this is amazing. This was not some simple write-check-post fic, but a full blown work. You included so much detail, like Malik's travels and the knowledge he obtained, as well as his vigorous research (and all its twists) in order to save his fellow assassin.

And the emotions and tone was set perfectly. When informed of Malik's 'death' it felt like a sudden blow to the heart. So amazingly well-written was it that the shock just blew away all breath. Altaïr's sudden realization of everything that had happened (thanks to that marvelous and brave apprentice of Malik's) was executed very well. One could imagine how muddled his mind was.

I like how Altaïr was to rally his Assassins and seek revenge against the Templars responsible. He came back in all his full blown badassness (excuse my vulgar language). Their reunion was great, and it was so refreshing to see Malik alive.

Okay, I'm sorry for the long review *Looks up* That's quite the monster to tackle. I just needed to express my awe and satisfaction. I hope to see more AC brilliance from you, but for now, I must go.

Wonderful.. all your AC stories are, actually. It was so sad when each thought the other was dead but the ending was very sweet

Woahholycrap. This haas got to be one of the best, well written stories I've read in quite some time.

You did quite a good job describing how Altair becaome obsessed with the Apple. You can feel Malik's frustration in that whole part.

Emotions are described well, and the reader can feel them along with the characters. This was especially made true when Malik had 'died'. It's like that pang of anxiety really hits home, along with the slow, but sudden realization, that fell upon Altair.

Of course, I was heavily relieved when Malik hadn't actually died.

Very good story you have here. I'd love to read it again. :D

This is a really good written story and I like how you wrote about obsession of both Altair and Malik. By the way, is this an one-shot? It looks like the story ended but the fiction shows in progress.
