I'm truly enjoying the direction this is heading. It's interesting and incorporates one of my very favorite things...mythology. You have written it beautifully and your descriptions of what she sees and how things feel is amazing.

Oh no. I'm all caught up...so are they moving onward/downward into the underworld, or is Edward taking her back to her world? Sorry, I'm slow :-P

I wondered why he grabbed her up from the Styx water, what would happened if it touched her. I am pretty useless when it comes to mythology, I know nothing. I hope Bella gets to a point where she does want to stay with Edward because she loves him.

Can Jasper come down to the Underworld and try to lure her back up?

Oh, this chapter made me a bit sad. Bella is using Edward to forget Jasper - she wants Edward to chase away the memory of her first love and that's selfish and hurtful to E. He wants her to come to him willingly. But, i think, no matter how much it pains Edward, he will take it so long as he can have her.

such pretty words - The words were born of her heart, and they'd lived there, roots tangling deep around the pulsing, throbbing thing, until at times she felt as though it was strangling, her heart, on the words of her wish. - i could actually feel my heart squeezing.

The anticipation of whether they would kiss was so good - i was there with her wanting to know how different it would be than kissing Jasper and if it would fulfill her. really nice job there

i like the pace of your story and the length - it reads like a fairytale, more poetry than prose. i can't wait for the next step in their journey.

You can feel Bella's desire to forget and to find comfort in Edward - i feel her ache as clearly as it's mine. I feel how hard she's trying to want to be there with Edward, to want this life he's giving her. I'm also assuming that Edward can feel all this too and it's killing him He was lost in it, sick with it, until what started as a whisper became a frantic cry, pulling him out of his reverie of fragrant dreams and back into the dark.

But even gods have to fight for the things they want and he's just going to have to win Bella's heart. And I love that under her quiet demeanor there is a burning that won't allow Edward to get away with things "Just because you fixed it doesn't mean that it's okay." Edward is wrong, she does hold power, just not the "physical" kind.

I really like how simple you keep their conversations but their words still convey so much - her uncertainty but steadfastness, his aloofness yet vulnerability (am i getting that right?)

I love that Bella asks Edward this question - "Then tell me, Edward, how do you see me?" - because i'm curious too...are we to believe that he's in love with her automatically because she is destined to be his? is that the way it's supposed to work because that's too easy.

His answer is romantic and vague just as Bella notes and I'm not sure how he meant it. but that's what i like about your Edward here - he maintains the properness of canon Edward and never saying more than he needs too and even remaining ambiguous. drives me crazy but that's him

"Nothing bad could touch her, while she was in his arms." - hmmm, is this foreshadowing an instance where harm will come to her when she's not near him? makes me scared for the life she will have.

You goober, you need to put this: There is a prequel to this story titled "Stars Fall Down." I don't believe it's necessary to read that first, but I do think it's interesting to do so.-

I dont understand this story. Its bugging me because this story is so good but I dont understand any of it. Its like looking through a tiny window and trying to see all of what's outside.

I like that they're both conflicted/troubled about getting together, that it's not really easyy for either of them. And now I want to know if she eats. Is he going to offer her pomegranate seeds?
