WOW! that was really a lovely tale. I do not condone cheating. being the one cheated on i know the pain all to well of how it feels when the supposed love of your life ventures out cheating. whether it be a first and only time encounter or multiple encounters it still hurts like hell when you fond out and YOU will at some point in time find out. whether its a feeling you have and confront your love or you see first hand. at some point in time truth will out. it always does. said that, do you forgive the person? i do believe there is a difference between cheated and a cheater. cheated is a one time ecounter most of the time. usually your drunk or jsut making the worst decision of your life in a moment of weakness or in a act of anger or renvenge you feel towards your other love. maybe your lonely..that falls under a moment of weakness. resorting to outside for companionship. now...cheater...meaning more than one. multiple times and most of the time with more than one person and you do this knowinging and without care to those or who you love. so there is a most certainly a difference between someone who cheated and is a cheater. i am more willing to forgive the cheated than the cheater. it wouldnt be easy, but what it all boils down to at the end of the day is how much you love the other person and how much are you willing to work it out. 9 out of 10 times there is relationship issues going one that has been going on long before the actual act of infidelity. infidelity is usually the last act and final act before a relationship is ended. the last straw so to speak and it is, but whats to remember is that it takes two to end a relationship. even though the other didnt cheat, both play hands in the demise of a relationship. lack of communication, affection or whatnot. the term it takes to to tango is more true than some like to admit. therapy come in here. diving in and finding out when exactly issues began to arise that led to the rest, led to one or both partners infidelity. there's always a trigger...er...that is unless you fall under the class of cheater 'er' being than you are just a heartless bastard that doesnt care who you hurt and every lay is a notch on your bed post. i hate to say it, those people to exist.
this was a lovely tale. painful to read. lovely to read. its confusing. i truly hate the idea that edward cheated. yes, one time thing from what it looks like and clearly has no plans on telling his wife. its also apparent that edward has feeling for the same sex or rather just for jasper than so happens to be the same sex. does this make edward gay? no. does it make him bi? no. there souldnt be a label for love. being gay means you are attracted to the same sex. being bi means you are attracted to both sex's. i have seen it many times where one who has always been in straight relationships all of sudden find themselves attracted to someone who is of the same sex, but had no feelings for the same sex as a whole. that that person was the only one he was attracted to. what label is that? doesnt need a label. all that means is that he or she found someone who they feel a pull to that so happens to be the same sex as them. its the person. as for edward its hard to say. he seems to live a normal life. wife with kid and all that, but he harbors feelings for this ONE male...he didnt seem attracted to men in general, but admited that his sex life with his wife was deminishing due to his feelings for this man. what he does will all depend on who much be loves his wife. if the pull for this man out weighs his feelings for her then the choice is obvious. he needs to persue this man and end his marriage. i also hate it that there are so many that are living secret lives. married yet are gay or bi and feel the need to hide this with marrying. fear causes this. fear of coming out. what others might feel about you and how they would react. some welcoming, understanding and accepting. other not so. some are down right cruel when discovering there friend or loved one is gay or bi. in these day in times it more accepting than it used to be, but the harsh reality is that there are some that are bigots. some are still so closed minded and its that fear that they instill that leads to some remaining in the closet. hiden in marriages to keep safe...the illusion of being normal so you are not judged because you happen to be attracted to or love someone of the same sex. even if edward doesnt end his marriage or persue his man he should at least respect his wife or partner enough to fess up at what happened. it might end there marriage regardless, but he would be honorable in telling her and not sneaking around. that only adds more pain and more lies. besides, if the attraction is as strong as it seemed to be in reading it...then edward and this man truly belong together. it would be hard getting to that place, but worth it in the long run.

| CullenTX 7/1/10 . chapter 1
I have read all your stories and love them all. Would like to see more of these two and some secret afternoon hookups.
I did keep waiting for them to be caught and compromised but maybe that is another story.

Despite having another life, how can anyone deny such over-riding passion? I think that is a problem with people today. Must stick with the expected course. Don't admit there could be so much more in life. How sad.

vampisthenewblack sent me to your profile urging me to read everything you've written ;) I'm starting with this one, which was so very good. There are so few 2nd person fics, its quite a striking device and I think it works so well for this. So hot and yet, so kinda sad that they parted ways - almost achingly realistic in the way you portray him being haunted by the encounter. Thanks for sharing x

I liked the POV, it worked really well for the story
It's horrible when that happens to people, wanting another person when you already have a happy family, even more so if its someone of the same sex. But I really liked the way you explained it in here, how it affected every aspect of his life and how it made him irritable. And of course the lemon!

That was brilliant. Beautiful - tragic - and wonderful.

Oh, holy hell. In so few paragraphs you painted a picture that was so vivid, it made my thighs tremble. Seriously hot and angsty and just awesome. Really, really well done. Thank you for writing this. I assume it will remain as a one-shot, but I'm going to put it on my story alerts, just in case. ;)

That was just bloody brilliant. I loved it. A well-written 2nd person POV and wow, how hot is that? I loved all your metaphors. Kudos to you, kudos.

Endless future possibilites, or a one-time encounter to be savoured in memories...
Interesting, and I liked the perspective :)
