Veridissima 7/5/12 . chapter 1So sweet So perfect |
inClouds 1/31/12 . chapter 1"You know, Per, in some cultures, this would be insulting. It's like you're giving me my dowry back." I legit laughed out aloud. It's very true- some people would be very insulted indeed haha. This was another brilliantly written Cox/Jordan, where there didn't need to be sappy words for that utterly sweet ending. |
carylfan10 1/18/10 . chapter 1Super story! Not too romantic to be true to the characters but just enough to keep me happy...I like it |
Bells of Tomorrow 1/16/10 . chapter 1God, I loved this. I've always adored Perry's quote about love from Season 1, so it was awesome how you incorporated his, "Yes, I do happen to believe that love is mainly about pushing chocolate covered candies and, you know, in some cultures a chicken," line into this. Really though, I thought the entirety of this piece was just fantastic. From Jordan remembering their last Valentine's Day before being caught with Pete to the one they had now; revealing that Perry had always known how much that little chicken meant to her. And of course, I loved that Jordan was no longer afraid to show him that by displaying them on her dresser and wearing the necklace. As you said in your summary, it's still a bit early, but Happy Valentine's Day all the same. I really enjoyed this piece. :) |
Quaxo 1/16/10 . chapter 1I like this, and not just because of contact drunk being used in a sentence. As sad as the closing is, I love how it ends, with neither of them able to meet each others eyes, tossing insults, before they wake up the next day and teh chickens are out and the necklace it on. I think it shows that they're still damaged by the past, but geting better. |
