Maybe if Rick really had slept w/ Mimei and realized neither knew who each other really were, he'd have dumped Minmei and spared us readers a lot of frustrated poundings of our heads on the wall, ne?

Rather sweet; a good description of a character's view of an event in a short story. I'm not a Minmei fan, as you know, but it was interesting to read Rick's POV of her without him saying it straight out. And in conclusion: I liked this story.

Quite a sweet and thoughtful little vignette. Well written. I particularly enjoy the lighthearted scene of Rick 'flying' a model veritech - adds just the right touch of vulnerability. I agree with the others - you should continue this.

Please, please, please continue this! I want more!
