Reviews for The Abduction of Éomer, King of Rohan
trollalalala 2/24/13 . chapter 2
Oh, never mind my suspicions.
trollalalala 2/24/13 . chapter 1
As soon as I saw the translation for "Leona" I started smirking to myself like a goon. I have a sneaking suspicion that Leona is actually Eomer in disguise! The first chapter drew me in and left me wanting more. Great start!
Light on the Horizon 2/16/13 . chapter 15
I'm back! After a long break from reading... Anyway, I loved this story and its rather unconventional plot... who knew abduction could be romantic?! :)
Chance2 1/7/13 . chapter 15
Lovely! I so enjoyed this! Thanks for sharing it. :)
Wind Spirt 1/5/13 . chapter 15

While waiting for an update on your new fantastic plot I thought I should read this wonderful story again because it is one of my all time favorites.
I can’t believe that I missed to leave feedback the last time I read it. What a BOOR I am!
Mea culpa, Lia! I should wear sackcloth and ashes for a whole week…Jeez!
Let’s blame it on…my progressive aging process…;-)

I truly LOVE this adventure. It is highly addictive and thoroughly enjoyable!
There are stories of yours (e.g “On the wings of the Storm, “Yours to command”) that have more suspense and drama but I think this one is the most intense in their personal interaction and in the development of their feelings. It is beautifully written with superb and vivid imagery and a lovely sense of humor!
I never thought I would consider cabbage as something intrinsically romantic but after this story I see it in a total different light for sure.

Great entertainment! Fabulous job...as always!
Thanks for sharing this masterpiece and your talent with us, Lia!

"Éomer!" Amrothos was yelling. "Are you mad? What are you doing?"

"Can't you see?" Éomer shouted back, sitting on the rowing bench and ploughing the oars through the water. "I'm abducting your sister." Already we were near the open river.

Amrothos ran along the pier. "You can't do that to me," he wailed. "I've just spent the last week chasing her up and down the Anduin!"

:-) I thought it so good that I'd have called it brilliant, only then I went to the next chapter and... " My family thought the delicate shapes were furled roses, but I recognized cabbages when I saw them."

I've been grinning like a loon for the half of this story and absolutely loving every single chapter.

I was tempted to leave a review after almost every chapter but then... I would have to stop reading for it. So... I waited until the end. It's a wonderful, brilliant and funny story. There are so many good points and funny dialogs that it's fantastic.

Thank you and please do keep writing. You have such wonderful ideas and you are able to model new characters out of Eomer & Lothiriel each time. They are really different stories.

Wonderful and thanks, thanks, thanks.

Loved it!
Professor Ali 10/15/12 . chapter 1
Lia, this is another favourite which I've come back to several times. I love this first chapter, it is so visual somehow, his enjoyment of the seeing the sea for the first time, really charming, I was totally hooked. The other thing I liked about this story is the different setting, and the sometimes quite lazy pace, the details of their journey - the sights, smells, food etc. And cabbage! again I will never see a cabbage without smiling. I loved it. Ali

Ooh ... this is really good. At first I was a bit sceptical (I don't read this genre often) but I really like the plot. It's a very nice, very fresh twist on the whole Eomer-gets-the-girl plotline. And of course, your main character feels refreshingly independent and "feministy". Lots of love from me.

I absolutely love this story. It is one of my favorites. However, there is at least one chapter missing between chapter 14 and the epilogue. You write such beautiful. Wedding scenes it is a shame there is not one in this story. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
The Saintlike Weasley 5/29/12 . chapter 15
Every time I read this it just gets better and better. I love this story to itty bitty pieces :')

Here I sit at two in the morning, cackling like a mad thing.

This story makes me really giddy-it's a great blend of romance, humor, and a tad bit of angst. Perfection.
