Wonderful ending! :) It's too bad about Harry's hand never healing, but I loved the closing sentiment about her tears stopping the pain. Ginny's way of pointing out that they have 3 hands between them was a stroke of genius, and I think was the reason why he came out of his "funk". She just has the gift to make him think more positively about anything, which he really needs. I assume Harry's using 'blokes' for his inner 'circle' of friends was a general term like we would say "Guys" for both guys & gals? Too bad Harry couldn't catch the snitch during their last game with the Cannons, but it's good to see there were no hard feelings about his hand or anything. Great story! :)

Very cool the way that Voldie met his maker...and that passing through the death veil the first time killed his last bit of soul. Also liked how Harry got Nagini to go through the veil on her own - pretty easy, as killing horcruxes go! lol The part where Harry sent his special patronus through Ginny's lion was pretty amazing as well, and I thought it was so appropriate the stag carried Voldie to the veil! I think it's even more incredible that now Harry owns Merlin's wand - seems only fitting, since he's probably the most powerful wizard alive now. Can't wait to see what all he does with it!

Exciting escape from Hogwarts! :) Very cool how they had more friends than they even realized, when it came down to it!

Very cool that Harry somehow put magic into the Lion barrette...Prof. Flitwick's explanation makes me think it happened because of his feelings for Ginny. It will be neat to see more about this!

Very cool way to hide the horcrux, and I loved how Harry's special patronus took care of everything in the Death Circle! :) Also really liked the end of the chapter - very sweet Harry & Ginny time! :D

Thank goodness Ginny showed him [part of] the sunrise from her room, and that they're back together, because that must be what saved the day! Very cool patronus, though...a fiery stag! Perhaps Molly will ease up just a little bit with them now?

"'You'll let her see it first,'" Moody repeated in a deeper growl. "Damn right you will, Potter. If I let you go to Molly Weasley with your foot like that, she'll put me in one of her pot pies." Great line! I don't imagine Moody's afraid of what too many people would do to him, but it's funny that Molly Weasley is one of them! :)

Now that's a hopeful ending for a chapter! I wonder what made Harry come around?

You've made a very interesting distinction about the Cannons...every other story I've read involving any quidditch whatsoever always treats the Cannons as abysmal players, professional or not, so I totally thought the Hogwarts team would have no problem winning against them. I suppose this was a good reason to get them fired up, though...I can just imagine what effect this will have on them once they do win at least one game against the pros!

Maybe I'm missing something, but I didn't see why Ginny (& everyone else) blew up when Harry asked her if she could help him on his terms. I do think it's good for her (& Harry) that she got to do the walking away for once, though! Interesting theory Hermione came up with about Elspeth Pendragon...can't wait to find out what she finds out! ;)

That was quite the exciting rescue! Harry saves Ginny, once again! They really shouldn't have been surprised at his actions...of course he'd be the first to go after her, ex-girlfriend or not. Thank goodness for that, since it shows that his feelings haven't changed for her.

Very cool that she had a mermaid and two centaurs as protectors! :) Kinda has a romantic feel to it, that they know her because she's "Harry's girl", even though Arthur pointed out it's not usually for a good reason. I wonder if Molly will be sharing more about the significance of what happened in the forest? Looks to be an amazing story! :)
