WOW-this is one of the most brilliant things you've written and you've written so many. So true to voice and character all around me. It scares me how very perceptive and blind Lex can be all at the same time.

I'm crossing my fingers very hard that 'Lucas" will find Lois in time.

I find myself wondering about Davis Bloome's fondness for Star Wars. Out of curiousity, are you projecting your OWN partiality of the franchise? Or is this an allusion to Sam Witwer's vocal performance in Star Wars video games as "Starkiller?" Or am I just having a long day at work and drawing conclusions based on random information that is in no way connected?

Alright, I'm thrilled that you updated and now I can't wait for Davis to contact Lois.

Just wanted to let you know that I LOVE this story! I have to admit that I am a hardcore Chlollie fan, but before they got together I could totally see Chloe & Davis as a couple. (They had such great chemistry!) I thought the Smallville writers handled their storyline horribly and hated when they killed Davis off, so this is very fun to read. Your writing style is amazing and I love how all the characters are interacting like a great big family. I look forward to reading more chapters; can't wait to see how this ends! (Hopefully it will be happy!)

The best thing about this chapter is Declan; he's just a joy to read and so adorable also..I do however have ? for you..What do you mean by him being UNDER her desk? Is that a safety hazard somehow and how is that possible? Being under her desk, I mean.

I liked the new chapter so much that I went back and reread the first series all over again. It took me some time because my time is not my own anymore.

But let me say this is one of the most real stories I've come across in a while. It's not a piece of junk that someone just rattled out and tossed on the internet for the sake of having someone else read it. This took effort. So I wouldn't want to rush whatever you have cooking in that head of yours.

Every chapter I read is a surprise, and that's an achievement because I've read more than my fair shair of books in my short life. So I'm not going to comment or guess about where the story is going; whatever you write winds up making sense and feeling right. But I will say this: could the next chapter come out soon? I know good things come to those who wait, but I'd rather not have to wait another seven months.

Please continue with this story, I'm interested to see how Lex is going to keep Davis in the dark about Chloe, especially since she's allive and well in Metropolis. I know you're probably setting the groundwork for a epic fight scene between Clark and Davis, but I am interested in how you're going to bring Chloe and Davis together again. I look forward to more cute scenes with their son. The only pairing I feel is lacking from your fic is Lois and Clark relationship. I'm a fan of this original pairing and I hope Clark's suggestion of Chloe moving in with him is not a push for the Chloe/Clark pairing. You made a good break with Chloe moving on from depending on Clark in your last story and I hope you'll continue with that instead of moving backwards. You do a good with the banter between all the superheroes and their love for Chloe and Davis' son. The kid is adorable and shows how all superheroes are softies inside. I find the flirting between Bart and Lucy is awesome, I know their not a cannon couple, but I always pictured them together. Keep up with the wonderful writing. Your Chloe/Davis series is literally the best fanfic adaptation for this couple I've come across on the net. It's honest and fits well into the Smallville universe and it brings in Bruce Wayne, who we all wish could be in the show.

Just when I thought it couldn't get more awesome- you dropped da bomb! and brought in Bruce Wayne with his own suspicions about who Lucas might be, asking Chloe for a picture of Davis.

Could it be that our too oft separated lovers will be reunited again, albeit in a traumatic/angsty fashion? Please say yes. XD

Wow! You really made my day... I can't even begin to put into words how much I enjoy reading this story. By-the-way, Declan is the cutest! In fact, while reading this chapter I couldn't help but picture Declan as a miniature version Davis with those beautiful soulful eyes. No wonder the little guy gets everything he wants.

Also, I'm glad Bruce is on the ball... Hopefully Lex's little brainwashing episode will soon be coming to an end, so Chloe can get her beloved husband back and little Declan the father he never met... OMG! I'm going to cry so hard when that happens. Still I can't wait.

And once again, thanks for taking the time to share this truly original and wonderfully written story with use. I can't wait to read what happens next.

I like how everyone is rallying around Chloe and Declan and I especially like how CLock-I mean Clark-is really doing his part to help as much as possible.

And good for Bruce for paying attention and realizing that something was off in Lex's office.

I just hope he's able to help before Lex totally brainwashes Davis into killing Clark on site.

this absolutely made my day! i really thought you'd abandoned this, and when it popped up with a new chapter, i was beyond glad. and it gave me an excuse to re-read beauty's beast (not that i haven't read it several times already) and the first few chapters before starting in on the new one, which was an excellent getting-back-into-the-swing-of-things chapter, i think.

i was glad to see bruce involved, even if tangentially, in the league. and of course he puts the pieces together quickly. good for dinah too!

also, happy to see chloe and clark worked out some of their differences in the past and are friends, even if he is being a little pathetic right now (which is totally in character).

and man, that kid has everyone hopping to whatever he wants. i'm not sure i agree with the theory that a child can be so naturally good that having so many people tripping over themselves to do what he wants does not actually lead to a bratty child, but it's fiction, so i'll go with it.
