What are 'bits' and 'url' exactly. Thanks again - I just needed to explain precisely where and what my confusion was based on.

I'm sorry, after reading Alert 2 I am confused as to what you did and what instructions you're giving. Did you create two separate stories - a changed version (New Version) accessible to any and all interested readers and the original (risque) version only accessible through a link.

I'm not familiar with the fanfic website 'specialties' - I know how to access the HH website and the story list; open the stories; and review/comment when allowed as anonymous (I don't even know how to login to submit a signed review or leave PMs).

In Alert 2, what do you mean "if the link doesn't work, just add the bits that do onto the end of fanfiction in the url." This is all "Greek" to me. Thanks for listening.

Yay! Another Hogan/Klink shipper!

I have grandiose plans of doing a lengthy Hogan/Klink piece, but currently all my writing time is absorbed by BBC's "Sherlock."

In the meantime, I'd love to read your take on the ship. So please, keep going!

I’m struggling a little bit regarding what to say about this, but I’ll try to keep it brief.

First, I’ll have you know that I’m an advocate for Hogan/Klink slash because it’s wonderful. I’m very glad you’re making a contribution to the HH fanfiction world. Thank you!

Unfortunately, while I wish I could just call this a masterpiece since I like it unconditionally, there are a few problems with it. For one thing, even though the piece is very short, I feel like it’s a little OOC. I feel like the whole setting is off in that kind of sense. I understand that it’s extremely difficult to work around the fact that Hogan’s Heroes is set in an extraordinarily different time period and place. A German PoW camp in the middle of WWII is a hard place for slash to occur! Because of that I can understand why a writer can have a hard time maintaining IC-ness and still write slash.

I’m going to subscribe to this story and I look forward to the next chapter. As a matter of fact, I will even go ahead and offer to beta for you because I’m that enthusiastic about Hogan/ Klink (c’mon, OTP). I just want you to keep in mind the setting and the sort of mindset that men during WWII would have.

There are so few fanfics pairing Hogan/Klink out here, not to mention the lack of any good ones and from this one chapter, however short it was, I can see the potential for it becoming one of those very rare good ones.
