Lol, I find it hilarious that you and I had the same idea in mind between these two characters. Canon Adachi was pretty poorly written and it really showed. Your fic was well-written and I think you got the canon characters down pretty well.

[I think she’s too quick to cry (at least the first time(s)), if this was the first it could indicate that here at the end she’d finally come to understand at least a glimpse of the chaotic, purposelessness that drives Adachi, and to somebody so logic and order-centered as Naoto it’s perfectly sensible that the very idea would terrify her]

For Naoto-kun whom created her image from detective fiction, where every crime has it's meaning and motive the acts of Adachi are not understandable at all, indeed she could not apprehend simplest of all reasons there is " I felt like it", "because I could", "it was hell of a fun"
