I loved this story. In a sad way. I haven't been keeping up with the manga at ALL (sort of got frustrated), but from the things I've heard secondhand it's not looking good for SasuSaku. I absolutely adore your writing though. Keep up the good work, anytime I see a new story from you it makes me smile.

It's actually one of my favorite fics from you now. xD I really liked how you wrote Sakura's character, and played with the idea that sometimes just going around making heartfelt speeches and running into things just isn't going to be enough (coughnarutocough, the first portion pretty much describes me 90% of the time when I read the manga now). It was great seeing Sakura being written as this loyal, aloof favorite of Danzou. The whole thing (the theme, keeping the characters reasonable, the writing in general) was done very masterfully. There were some small grammatical errors here and there, but they weren't so significant that they made me enjoy the fic any less.
