Very touching. I love how you characterized 1.

"From his standpoint, he believed for a moment that he was the first point of the star, the leader of the shape. It was what he always believed himself as, wasn't it?"

I thought that bit really summed up 1's motivations for his actions throughout the movie. He doesn't realize they're all equal now; at first, he's still blinded by his stubborn belief that he knows what's best for everyone.

And you're right, 1 wasn't created to lead - he needed to protect, and he did a good job until 9 came along and ruined everything. x)

I loved that last line. So simple and true to 1.
