*Gasps*, you just can't leave me hanging like this, what happens next and the story was just getting so good. *sighs* well i'm not one to talk seeing i haven't update on one of stories as of yet. -_-

This story is amazing, I love how all of your theories are solid and valid that I can't help but expect that Tite Kubo may do exactly what you wrote.

I've read through this story, and the one that preceded it. I really hope you update it soon, because I think that is the worst place you left off so far through these two stories. However much I love it; it's the worst place ever in any of your stories! O_O And, I don't know why that is. It just is.

I want to see what comes next! You're so cruel! Until the ending of this chapter, the story was rather average from you. With this chapter it seems like you brought the level of the story up some. There's just something so heartwarming about the familial feeling between Hitsugaya and the Kurosakis and this chapter was lovely bantering. I enjoyed it the most out of any chapter since the original, and second, pranks pulled on Matsumoto. The prank was good, but I'm just not sure if Matsumoto would have reacted that way in the first place.

I love the alternate reality you've created and keep running through your different fanfics.

Thanks for updating this one! I was so happy to see the alerts in my email tonight! I knew it was going to be awkward for Toushiro going back to the office, and not just from having Isshin working under him. I noticed the looks from his squad members. That would be extremely uncomfortable to go back to work, when the story of what happened between him & Matsumoto has probably spread throughout his division and possibly beyond. It will be doubly hard for him to be seen by anyone else as anything but a child for quite awhile, now. Then, to show up back at the office with the divisions' former taicho in tow, and it's no wonder Toushiro is feeling reluctant to let anyone else do his work. His insecurity about his position, and being taken seriously by others would be running rampant, I'd expect.

One more thing, now. By ending the chapter where you did, I sure hope you'll update again soon! I can't imagine who just came in the door, as Ichigo never calls Toushiro by his title. I'm dying to know who just caught Toushiro in an embarrassing situation!

Hehehe,Toshiro is in for the long haul on this one. I hope Isshin will be able to get the little Shiro to lighten up. I also wonder who came in at the end. If it was Ichigo, or Karin for that matter, they'd call Toshiro by his given name and not his title.

It is good, but I can wait for more.

In general, I find your plot and characterizations engaging. Some scenes leap of the page, which is why I've read several of your stories.

Now for the mini-critique... (Sorry, I'm not a reviewer; I'm a critic.)

The one element that stops me (i.e. I flinch or in rare cases, stop reading) is the prose. Phrases including "the fact that", "in fact", and "truth be told" intrude by imposing the author's voice into what would otherwise be either a limited omniscient or multiple 3rd person point of view, depending on the story. These additions jar me out of the characters head and, in my opinion, are unnecessary.

My apologies if I was unduly harsh.

It's kind a creepy that he has kept the room as it was.. But, I think I would have done the same, if I was in his shoes. :)

Another great chapter! I love how Toshiro is pulling himself back together, now that he knows he will have Isshin with him again. And it was cute how he remebered and acted upon Isshin's famous "sneak attacks". No wonder he was so good at doing that to Ichigo, he had lots of practice on Shiro-chan before him! It's surprising that Toshiro told his former Taicho that he plans on sleeping on the roof, as Isshin used to always take him down from there and put him back into bed. If it rains, where will Toshiro sleep? I also loved how his emotions showed as he thought of Matsumoto. Aww, sniffle, somebody hug him!
