Athena Keating-Thomas 9/19/06 . chapter 1This is actually one of the first HP fanfics I read, and I enjoyed it as much now as I did back in 2002... |
Iva1201 8/30/06 . chapter 1This is great! Very sad but wonderful. Maybe you could correct Snape parentage - mother, aunt are O.K. but the man in Azkaban could be uncle? It would suit the new canon better. Dumbledore dying other way and Sirius alive feel somehow more O.K. with me. Maybe because I wish it was true? Even if I don't like Sirius too much? Don't know. Added this and your other fics about Snape to C2 Severus Snape where I am staff. (-: |
 unlikely2 4/13/06 . chapter 1Well written. |
 TheDeathChamber 7/12/05 . chapter 1So sad. " ." " ." So dark and sad... |
Lavinia Lavender 6/20/05 . chapter 1Wow. So powerful, and deep, for a darkfic. Best paragraph (I think):
The horrible, sickening realisation that it had been a mistake. That there was no great Muggle threat, that there was no real cause for fear and - most horribly - knowledge of what the Dark Arts really were: not forbidden treasures, kept out of reach by a hidebound and meaningless tradition, but truly, thoroughly evil.
I always, always love it when authors take canon and run with it. You've always done it so, so well. |

xiaogui 12/15/04 . chapter 1Wow... I have rarely found something that intense written with so few words. It's an incredible fic.. incredible... *shivers*.. great!
I'll put you on my favourite authors list in advance, just not to forget to read your other fics as well...

 duj 12/5/04 . chapter 1Great fic. |
Eerie 9/13/04 . chapter 1Great job! Very provocative and dreary. Your writing is marvelously convincing. |
Grym 7/15/04 . chapter 1A very intersting, dark series of moments. Your handling of Snape's borderline madness and torture is subtle, elegant almost, as he works through the memories left to him. His later discussions with Hermione and particularly with Harry at the Astronomy Tower are both understated - in a truly Snapeish way - and moving. The last bits seem more abrupt, although they bring us thematically full circle with a rising sun and the fading of the nightmare. I would have liked to know a little more there at the end, but otherwise, a truly engaging fic. |
 Alexiel.v 7/8/04 . chapter 1First of all, it's excellent! _
I just wanted to know if you would give me the permission to translate your fic and post it in the french version of ffn... Of course I'll mention that you're the author and that I'm just the translator... Anyways, if you want to I can to send you the translation of «Phantom Cruciatus» (I keep same title) that I've already translated, just so you can see what it would be like...
That's all! If you don't want, it'll be all right, it's your fic after all... _
