really interesting how you wrote this story. really good with a good dash of funny. :)

There are two instances I can recall Dean saying the L word in an INDIRECT way - once in AHLB2 to dead Sam (so probably doesn't count, heh): "I let down the people I love. I let Dad down. And now I guess I'm just supposed to let you down, too." And once in The End: "Because whatever we have between us — love, family..."

But I am still waiting for the direct, completely sober "I love you". (But like another reviewer said, probably won't be until the very last episode!) Until then, I have your fic to tide me over. Thanks! :)

I've been watching the show since the pilot episode and Have never missed an episode and have all four seasons on DVD. The boys have not once uttered the "L" Word to the other in any episode Prior To "Sam,Interrupted"

Can't wait for them to say it completely sober though (I have a sinking suspicion that It won't be said till the Final Episode though with Sammy saying it first)

Very nicely done! I also think Dean would be sneaky about saying it, so I think you nailed this.

My favorite part of that episode was when Sam 'boops' Dean's nose. I did that to my fiance for days after. :)

Good story. As far as I can remember, the only L word came from Sam, in Sam-Interrupted. :) I am not sure Dean is capable of saying it. But if he said it, I believe it would be exactly as you did in this story. Soo, again, very good story. :)
