Ghost in the Machine 1/27/02 . chapter 2While Bruce's willingness to separate his duties as Batman from his life as Bruce is admirable, in this case I think it is misplaced. Anyone who falls into Bruce's or Batman's life is subject to scrutiny for very valid reasons.
Actually, I think his biggest problem is now that the Joker has given Bruce a method to contact him, the next time he encounters Batman, he'll blame Bruce for being discovered. Thus leading to a direct assult on Bruce's life. While Batman is more than capable of protecting himself, there are limits to what he can do to protect his public identity. |
