That was a good story! I really liked it! And it was also very sad!

Pretty, but I was hoping for a happy ending. It made me want to cry.

Hey, I'd never seen this story before, which is fairly embarrassing since I wrote one with a somewhat similar plot (except the baby ended up back with her mom). It's very nicely done. Such powerful feelings, and such a great Tucker voice.

you know what? This is the first story based on 'Unexpected' whare the baby dies that i'v come across. I actually love it! I didn't think i would but it just sorta...worked. Malcolm was a bit of a jerk for a wile there but, yeah, it was good.

What a lovely story! T'Pol's "remember" necklace was a powerful scene. I really felt for Trip when he was holding his daughter for the first and last time.

I always felt that Trip got off the hook awfully easy when it came to being able to just remove a fetus and reimplant it in someone else. I like stories where he can't have everything cured with a quick reset button and has to deal with the pregnancy.

Interesting story.

What a moving story. Loved the way you portrayed the various characters. I would love to see more Enterprise fics from you.

Just finished it and I'm on my fourth tissue. I have one question... Why aren't you doing this for a living? I don't know what you do besides moderate the site, but I must suggest that you should be doing more of this. I've read two of the ENT novels that have come out and this is so much better than either one of them. There is absolutely NO comparison. Please, submit this to the next "Strange New Worlds, VII" compilation.

Everytime you had the word "daughter" I felt a pang of something. I could picture him holding her and talking to her. Trip is such an emotional character that only he could have gone through this. Phlox was written wonderfully as was Archer. The ending with T'Pol was beautiful, just breathtaking. I almost expect to see him wearing a silver chain under his uniform on the show now.

The only thing I wasn't comfortable with was how many times he called Archer, Jon. Since that's never happened on the show, it was a little disconcerting.

If you don't want to send this to "Strange New Worlds", please consider sending a hardcopy to Connor himself. I'm sure he would love all the care and compassion you took with his character.

I really enjoyed this story though I was so sad that the baby died. It seemed so unfair and desperately sad. Poor Trip. Poor baby. I am glad that T'Pol found a way to help Trip remember his daughter. That was such a nice touch. Ali D :)
