Very touching!

Hey, that's quite good! You did a good job writing a story into which your chosen song fit, rather than the other way around(something I've seen waaaaay too many times, and it invaribly sucks.), and you paced the story and the song well. Great characteraztion of Dot and her situation. You get across the poignancy and tragedy of what's going on in Mainframe without dipping into melodrama, which is quite a skill in itself! I also love that you didn't pick some over-used pop standard, instead using a song from a rather cool musical that has good, clear, meaningful lyrics even if the reader isn't familiar with the tune. Basically, I'm just trying to say you done good, kid. Now go write more good stuff!
