This is a beautiful chapter. I love the tension (not sexual, mind you) between Luc and Ev, and how she has changed somewhat in the calm of the country. I also love the emotional reaction she has to news of the Nazis.

But the piece de resistance of this chapter was definitely the final line. I cannot wait for more!

I really enjoy your descriptions. You paint a vivid picture of the scene.

And I, too, don't want to see Landa portrayed simply as a cold-blooded killer. He's "multilayered" and "multifaceted," as Christiph Waltz has described him. I'm interested in seeing how you develop him in your upcoming chapters!
