Another great story. I liked the gallows humor and the I liked the way to the end. The humour came at the right with the various Dr. and their tests...there goes what $ we had saved not the little village parties...on to check some more of the stories waiting...Thank You.

Historical note: _nobody_ in an orphanage in 1937 would have been well-fed-that was the middle of the Depression, and lots of regular families were starving then, too. And the little we saw of Mrs. Cole's in canon did not recommend itself.
