i've given up all hope on seeing a update from a different sort of rebel, this is why i don't trust people, they lie & i probably won't be around much longer if my asshole of a father gets custody of me, which i hope can't happen since i'm 25, if it does, this may be the last story i'll ever read cause i might never get to read a another story in my life if he has his way & brainwashes me to forget everything i love.

I don't see how Marty can repair the damage he did, but I do hope he calls and removes himself from the clutches of the scheming self serving Rory.

When is a Different Sort Of Rebel Gonna Be Updated

I've never given the Rory/Marty pairing a second thought, but seeing your story pop up here and there (in updates, in people's favorite lists) I decided to read it even though I never really shipped Rory with Marty - and I have to say that I love this story! It's well-written and it keeps me want to read 'just one more chapter' and then 'just one more' until there's sadly no chapters left.

Marty now comes in second place (right after Jess) in the list of guys I'd want Rory to end up with and I'll keep following this story.

Something struck me while reading: Marty and Rory are kind of alike somehow, aren't they? Never really thought about it before.

I'm SO pissed at Lexie. Was Rory wrong for sleeping with Marty so soon? Probably, but it takes two to do the deed. Is she suggesting that Marty gets a free pass? Also, how dare she blame Rory for every problem in their lives. Andy was the one who left and ruined the wedding. She is responsible for her relationship falling apart with Marty and her alone. Poor, poor Rory. :'( She didn't deserve any of that. At least Marty defended her.

I can't wait for more. I really want Marty and Rory to talk soon and realize their not at fault. Please update!
