In my humble opinion, this is probably the most well-written story in the Sins of a Solar Empire category.

Isn't it annoying when a gas giant or some other un-colonizable object is in a tactically valuable position? I once played a map (with Distant Stars mod) where the only route between my planet and the star contained a Black Hole (needless to say, I didn't win that game).
