i'm glad you decided to write about hikaru's parents; not a lot of focus is given to them and thier relationship to hikaru.

Just a suggestion, in order to get your writing groove back, why don't you continue on with this drabble as exercise? Though it's in the same universe, each should be independent of each other and doesn't necessary follows a timeline so you'll have plenty room to play. It might stimulate your plot bunny to cough out the sequel of Reaching Ithaka.

In anyways, please continue to write, you're quite good and many of us really enjoy your writing. Reaching Ithaka is my all time favorite of female Hikaru fanfics and mind there's only a handful that made it work.
