This is very well written, Ranma feels maybe a little bit off but you could say that it's what changed to make him tell Akane about his curse right away.

It's interesting how things change when Akane blows up on Genma instead of Ranma. I like to see Ranma accept his girl-form, and the circumstances fit together well in a believable way. Poor Ranma the socially inept boy being thrown into high school girl politics (ouch). Definitely would like to see more.

Consider that canon Ranma never had a moment in his life where he was allowed to emotionally let his hair down, so to speak. If anything, this is a much more realistic adolescent boy we're reading about.

Consider also that Ranma is, after all, a sixteen year-old boy with all the attendant insecurities and uncertainties of a sixteen year-old boy. Add to that the social ineptness and additional insecurities contributed by his lifestyle and upbringing and you've got the recipe for a very confused and unhappy little fella.

Martial arts mastery notwithstanding, he's a still a child, for Christ's sake. Put him in a girl form and throw in a female's hormones and brain chemistry and stick him in an environment as alien and uncomfortable as a full girl's locker room. Throw in a little catty b!tchiness and cruelty from his peers for good measure and set on puree and you basically have a recipe for nitroglycerin.

What did you people honestly THINK was going to happen? I'm surprised he even made it back to the locker room.

Anyhow, I'm subscribing to the story in hopes that you'll pick it back up eventually.
