A good use of calling in late, nice.

Ha! Love that she forgot Valentines Day. I love fics that let her brush off the standard "important" parts of a relationship and leave room for just the two of them, having fun. :D

Only thing I'd recommend when editing is that the block paragraphs at the beginning kind of deter me from the rest of the story. I keep reading because I know it's going to get good, but I like short openings, like dialogue, that I can get into without having a ton of backstory pushed at me.

That said, I totally understand that this is 3 years old, and you've undoubtedly improved by leaps and bounds since then. Which means I should watch out, because by now I'm sure you're a thousand times the writer I am. XD
