That was so sad...I can really see this happening to Trunks, especially the flashback of the little boy that he couldn't protect because he was too young. Poor Trunks and his damaged past. *sigh* But I liked this. This is actually the first fic I've read where the author really dug into to Trunks' thoughts and *then* related them to Vegeta. Interesting. Very interesting, indeed.

I really enjoyed this story because it gives some insight into the terror that the androids reign fear and feelings of helplessness are often completely glossed over, this story shows a more realistic notion of the aftermath.

Happy endings are nice but it is refreshing to see a more "human" side of tragedy and despair instead of the typical the hero wins the day theme that is commonplace.

This is very well written the only thing it lacks is ... well a title. Aside from that it's darkness gives it a foothold in reality.
