This is before The White Road. As such, it is a lovely rendition of what could be a "missing moment."

I like the fact that you have covered Alec's distancing from Phoria. Thero has a point. She is currently severely distrustful of 'fae and the Watchers, and Alec is indeed both. And unlike Seregil, Alec can't really claim to be Queen's kin (although I believe that Phoria's hands aren't clean in the Alec and Seregil's fate).

And Thero seriously has a crush on Klia. Well spotted, and nicely written.

Again, this was well written, and a lovely rendition. Thank you for such a lovely story.
