OK, that was an absolutely wonderful little caper fic. And using the contortionist? inspired. Now I have to poke around and see if I can find any more of your fics... And bravo for letting Hobbesy make a deal, snort. After all, barter is one of the oldest currencies. Even if it wasn't intended. Snort.

That was a great little case fic, short (well, shortish, compared to what I usually go searching for. The fact that I'm currently inching my way through Lord of the Rings for the umpteeth time makes everything seem short in comparison ) and sweet and cute.
And totally unintentional. I had read your ' Black the Sun' on a website somewhere a long time ago, and happened to find it again on by chance. Thought I'd see what else you had written, and was pleasently surprised to discover that you had written an Invisible Man fic as well. There aren't many good IM fics out there.
I'm suposed to say something here about what I didn't like, or what to fix, or something, aren't I? Well, I suppose the descriptions of Ruby's contortions were sort of difficult to visulize, but describing how people are moving is always a challenge. It was one of those things where I just sort of skimmed through Ruby's part of the robbery.
And the angst fan in me would have loved to see Darien go psycho due to his... overexposure. The uber-angst fan in me sees him blind, tortured in some Chinese secret service place, shurtless and bloody and...
You see how it goes. I'd love to see a sequel to this! Does Claire remove the little implant in the back of his neck, or just leave it in there?

i wanted to thank you for this pleasure - deliciously plotty and written with your trademark talent. very nice to get to spend some time with the boys again, especially when everybody's so in character that i feel like i just discovered a missing episode.

if i'm not writing, at least i get to spend my time reading good fiction like this.
