Wow. I don't know what I expected, but it definitely wasn't Thud, or Screech and Red Claw for that matter, helping out. Looks like that they're good guys, at least for now, but I can't help wondering if they have, or will have, alternative motives.

You made Red Claw, Thud, and Screech kickbutt and now main characters! I love you for that! I can't wait until the next chapter! Squee!

Wow. His death came to be pretty shocking to me, even though Topsy isn't really my favorite character. I personally am a fan of Ozzy and Strut, which may make me sound a bit crazy, considering of how flat out insane Ozzy is in this. Despite them being total antagonists, I find them to be hysterical characters. I remembered them vividly from when I was younger, and eventually came across their "Eggs" song a while back. I'm even in the process of writing my own "The Land Before Time" fanfic, which is titled "A Struthiomimus's Touch." I'm looking forward to reading more of this.

Oh, gee, I wasn't expecting this. Poor Topsy and poor Tria. I can't believe he's dead. I'd say you got the emotion aspect just right; it's real sad. I wonder how Cera will react to the news. Good chapter, though everyone seems to have forgotten that Strut indeed tried to warn them.

One of your most shocking endings of a chapter yet! I never thought that Cera's father would be the one to be the first killed, after living through the first and the second. I have a feeling the ending will go like the second one, the antagonist, and a main character in the story (not from movies) getting killed with him. Like what happened to Rooter along with Blackclaw.

Boy, I didn't expect Topsy to die from all that, but at least Cera won't be an orphan. I mean she lost her first mom before and I have a suspicion right in my fanfic on how she died.

Otherwise, great job on this chapter. Love the aftermath!

I can guess what's gonna happen to Ozzie in the last few chapters.

Poor Chomper is captured again, this time with Cera. At least there is some slight hope as the fast biters and egg eaters are no longer together, though the seperation of the prisoners may be problematic. Perhaps things can work out if Littlefoot and Strut work together, either willingly or unknowingly, to rescue each, Cera and Chomper. And I wonder how Thud will fit into all this. Will there end up being a third party?

The prose is very interesting, and the writing has good flow. I can see how Littlefoot might be a bit lost or perhaps 'bored' after all the action he has been through recently.

Littlefoot and Cera's conversation came together very nicely from line to line, but at times I couldn't help but feel they spoke a little bit out of character. Speaking so openly about love just doesn't seem like something Littlefoot and Cera would do, but perhaps I just missed events from the past stories that justify it.
