This has got to be one of the best short stories I've ever read. The characterizations were excellent, and the ending was awesome. Their personalities as high schoolers was fun as heck to read and the interactions were very close to perfectly in character...which is brilliant.

You made the story plausible at the beginning and then wrapped it up so neatly at the end. It was a great read. I just wanted more of it, but alas...it were not so.

And yeah, Rodney can be pretty bad-ass when he wants to be.

What a beautiful story! I love your way of writing- it's wonderful and interesting...The story had a great flow to it. My favourite part was John's description of what flying means to him. That really rang true. And oh- I loved just about everything about your story. Well-done and well-written- kudos to you! At first I thought it was going to be an AU and the end came as quite as a surprise. So again, great job!

This was a great story. I never read these kind of stories w/ Rodney and John as kids, but this was a good one. Glad the team was together for it all ;-)
