Daaw! This is so sweet! Dang, I wish we got to see how the dance went between Hikaru and Akari. This was quite well written. You stayed in character, told a sweet story, and made an OC that was NOT a Mary Sue...at least, I don't think she was. When Sai fell for her, he was quite in character. Well done! Keep up the good work.

A brilliant piece! I like how you gave us some background on Sai, and kind of paralleled his story with Hikaru's. That thousand year old go player does give some good advice... Hikaru should listen more! xD

SAI! Sigh, how I adore him. Anyway, I loved this story, seriously. You seem to understand Sai very well, and it's evident that you think very highly of him, from the way you write about him. He's a sweet, gentle man, and you portrayed that perfectly. This is going in my faves!

WOW! That was a really nice one-shot! But there was only just a tad bit of Hikaru/Akari fluffiness in here...I wish you'd put up an epilogue or something about how the two got back together and about the dance, etc. 0 I just love that pairing! But I have a question. When Hikaru was going "ew" and stuff after Sai's story, were you saying that Sai kissed Kaori or had...uh...ya know...confuzzed and embarrassed for asking such a question! Great story though, you did an awesome job! Your writing skills are really good!

That, flat out, was beautiful to say the least. I loved the OC/Sai pairing. There isn't enough on of it. All the pairings are Hikaru/Akira, which I don't believe. I just don't think Hikaru is gay. But anyway, it reminded me a lot of a fanfic I've been trying to write. I don't think I'm going to post it though... One of those 'me and my friend's got bored and started a story that gave me an idea' things. Anyway, loved the story, I hope you do another chapter. Maybe a chapter about what happens at the dance or where we find out a little more about how Kaori and Sai felt about each other (one of those epiloge thingies). Definately going on my favorite stories list.
