I laughed so hard at Harry just picking up the cup and leaving right away. I very much like this different take on Harry and the Potter's in general. It's a refreshing change from the stereotypical abandonment story. I got linked over here from Princess of the Blacks, another non-stereotypical Potter-brother story. It's a dark-story day for me apparently.

Anyway, this has been a fun read so far. No matter how long it takes for you to get back to this, just wanted to let you know I've enjoyed it.

I had wondered what happened to Tom Riddle's diary horcrux, since no one saved Ginny he was able to gain a body. I like that he's the one who destoyed voldemort, I always thought the younger Tom Riddle would have been a more dangerous foe.

Your writing style is very unique and I like your version of the Harry Potter characters. Apathetic Harry can go so wrong so easily, but you do it very well. Having only just come across this story I will go read your other stuff, since I read Slash and Het.

Hi! I'm sorry if all the response intimidated you... I hope I won't add to that. I just found this story on your profile and it looked interesting. I find it very easy to read, nicely flowing, and I find myself wanting to get into Harry's head, try to see what will finally rouse his emotion.

It's very interesting! I hope you will continue it, I've read other story's that you have written and I think you're a very good writer that spends a great deal on her story's. Perhaps it is that because you spend so much time on the concepts you want to turn into a great story, the techniques and stuff you picked up have become a natural thing and now, while you write this, just flow. I find that very admirable :) and I hope you will continue to treat this story with the same mindset you began it with, develop the idea of a sort-of-no-emotions-Harry, what happens to him, all that, and just use it for 'venting', something you don't have to spend to much time on.

I believe other people have also noticed what I did; namely that it has become such nature to write well that you can do it for shits and giggles and I'm actually quite jealous of that. Sorry, don't wish to offend you in any way ;)

Please, don't let mindless reviews and statistics put you off writing for this story. When I say mindless reviews, I mean the ones that say 'this is bloody awesome please update soon!' though I will readily admit they are sort of uplifting I can do much more with some insights and such ;)

I'm also sorry if I haven't reviewed any of your other story's. I'm actually supposed to be studying, exams, and I'm a wee bit sick, so I'm not really social and all. That and I want to give good reviews and that takes sometimes time with me. I have to see how the story develops over time... But I can safely say that I've enjoyed your writing! And that I'm still in process of checking out your other works.

I have to be honest, I change my tea a great many times. Sometimes I'm not really 'in the mood' for slash, mainly because so much is porn-with-a-plot and I don't like that. But with a nice, realistic relationship (I'm not a great romantic hehe) where both can learn and grow it doesn't quite matter to me what their sex is. I find you have a great deal of story's that are what I consider good (or have great basis and the chance to grow into something great) so I think I'll stick around. If you don't mind, that is.

Sorry for the long review and I hope I didn't offended you in any way, it was never and will never be my intention. Also, I'm not an English native, though I have lived in Scotland for four months as a visiting student, and my English isn't so great. I do my best.. I love the British accent. Simply delightful!

Oh dude! Did the young Riddle just off the snakey Riddle? Looking forward to the next chapter.

I quite literally laughed out loud when Harry just grabbed the cup again and portkeyed back. I think I scared my cat a bit.

It's strange, really, how JK Rowling just gave us pieces, and I never thought how silly they were at points - perhaps it was just the Harry of the time, however. Perhaps JKR's Harry couldn't help but wander into the graveyard. Perhaps he didn't even consider grabbing the Portkey again - I certainly didn't, though I think I was probably clutching the book in terror at this point.

Either way, I loved the change... and not just that change. When I write HP that's not canon but closely the general track of canon (and I've seen this with other writers as well), I often have difficulty figuring out what to change, but you... it's perfect here. It fits beautifully, and I love the changes you've made. I am excited I discover this story, and I can't wait for more.
