I am enjoying this piece, as I've enjoyed everything of yours that I have read so far. I like the introduction quote. I like what I'm learning about Alice. Gibbs is written spot on. With a terse character like Gibbs, more has to be put into physicality and thoughts, which you've done well.

Very good, glad that Alice is realising just how hard it is on Jack for her to have that wishy washy thing, not to mention how hard it was on Jack when he just got thrown out of her life. Now what? But American Football, really?:?

I'm glad Alice is starting to see Jack's side. She clearly loves him dearly, but she does seem quite blind to how badly she's hurting him
