Aly Leigh 11/21/11 . chapter 23 Okay, so I'll admit it... I cried while reading this marvelous story. I couldn't help it... This story is so stinking good! I do feel bad for Caspian though. Keep up the amazing work! I cannot wait to read more! |
OldFashionedGirl95 11/7/11 . chapter 23I know everyone's saying Tristram and Yseult, but all I could think of was Lancelot and Guenevere. Only...better in a way, because they actually hadn't been adulterous. Not really. And the ending reminded me of the Princess Bride. This was a good story (even if I was about ready to kill you when you announced Edmund dead-I started holding out hope for his return pretty quickly) and I looove the ending. So much better, in some ways, than Arthur's. One thing that was a bit jarring for me was how quickly Rilian accepted Lucy as "mother", and then how quickly he switched to nearly hating her. If he hadn't been thrilled, if we'd sen him being suspicious for awhile, it would perhaps have been less sudden, although it did convey how bewildered Lucy was with the turn of events. Readers sometimes like understanding things better than the characters. All in all, another amazing AU from you. Thank you. |
AutumnRoseSummerLily 9/25/11 . chapter 23This story is really addictive and you just can't stop reading because you always want to know the next chapter. For some reason the story line reminds me of the film "The Other Boleyn Girl" but I can't think why. Thank you for a really enjoyable and unpredicitable storyline. |
xxxMishaxxx 6/30/11 . chapter 23Wow.. what can I say... you are amazing. Well, I have seen Tristan & Isolde and have also seen Devdas,(only movies of both though), and yes, I was really reminded of both in your themes( specially the candle thing of Lucy's and Lucy's marriage being arranged after the fallout-Devdas, and well, Tristan & Isolde was of course there) , but you still amaze me with how you handled each character and their development. The plot was well thought-out and each scene was really good. The story was simply outstanding, and was really different in that all the characters were so likable and there was no "antagonist" as such... I read later in your AN's that thats what you sort of wanted, and really that effect was very much appreciated! :) I probably didnt like the end so much, cuz it was kinda sad for Caspian, but thankfully all was well with Edmund and Lucy... and Susan being so silly not recognizing Ed! But great story, really well-written, and thanks so much for this fic! :D |
Mahima 6/24/11 . chapter 9 I love your story! It's so interesting, I cried at the part where Ed met Lu in the wedding room place! You were born to be a writer! Just one thing, at some parts there are so many fancy words strung together that the sentance doesn't make that much sense! Try and avoid that! Otherwise I think your story is perfect! |
Seamew 5/23/11 . chapter 23Oh, this was absolutely lovely. I've always enjoyed a realistic story, though my love of happy endings doesn't really go along with reality. But I feel that you managed to do both. While this certainly wasn't the most cheery thing, you still ended it nicely enough for your characters, making it a truly beautiful fairytale. Not the fluffy kind you see in Disney movies, but one of the more traditional sort. It was a bit obvious to me how the ending would work out, but it made me so happy to know ahead of time. I'd probably have been crushed otherwise! Thank you for writing and posting here! |
Christ's girl 3/31/11 . chapter 23 What a great ending! The story was wholesomely entertaining. Great Job! |
