Why doesn't this have five thousand reviews? This was the best Sephiroth/Genesis piece I've found thus far and its by far my favorite that I've read from you. My gut was twisting with emotion as I read every word and I found it positively heart-breaking for some reason. The way Sephiroth thought of Genesis as a tool made me want to cry. I feel so bad for Gen. He's oblivious. But, I suppose that's why we love him. X)

I just loved the way you described Sephiroth's feelings this time. They seemed right on target. There was the trademark Sephiroth cruelty in his actions and yet, a tenderness for the romantic element of the overall story. I found a tinge of darkness shrouding this piece that just made it all the more emotional for me.

I'm running out of words to describe how fabulous it was. -Sweatdrops- It was just incredible. I'll leave it at that. :)

Lovely work! :) It is written beautifully, as usual. The interaction between Sephiroth and Genesis was realistic, given all that happened between them before, and I loved how you described Sephiroth’s feelings towards Genesis. Loved all that complexity. _ And how you used Genesis’ wing definitely was a nice touch.

I still love this set up, just the whole "fresh from being driven insane and still loving Gen although he thinks he shouldn't" thing is nice. It's up there with post-DoC only not. Because Gen's not wearing the uber sexy new coat...
