Well, that was something adorably different. I feel that Fuu had gotten the hardest test though, the poor thing. But Umi's test was adorable. I loved how Askot was portrayed, I could have hugged him!

Ah, I was looking forward to this chapter. I wasn't disappointed... ok maybe a tad. I was hoping for a nice battle with Nova. But I was quite happy with the sweetness of this scene as well!

Caldina was wonderfully in character, I could practically hear that accent of hers!

I'm ecstatic to read about Nova. Not a lot of Rayearth fanfiction has her. However she had to be one of my favorite characters, even though she wasn't cannon.

I was shocked that Ferio was so... malicious. Evil even. And at the same time it was kind of delicious. Power to Fuu for resisting and even beating him at his own game.

All in all great job. I'll be reading more and giving you a blow by blow of what I thought.

whoa, this story is really cool, though i like your 'The Swallow Sang it to Me' better. If you really need a beta, i may be available, though i must admit i've never offered to beta for anyone because of exactly what you stated: I really, really respect Tolkien and thus try very hard on fanfiction, etc. By the way, you misspelled his name so many people do! It's J.R.R. Tolkien, not Tolkein. Though fans pre-LOTR movie refer to him as JRRT. I simply love all his works, and i'm glad there are so many fans out there, like 'the Tolkien Society'.
