Also, I love when people think Jack is Emily's son...I use it a lot too. It just makes me warm inside.

Ugh, it's so frustrating but realistic how easily these two hurt each other's feelings. It's been a while since I've been in a relationship, but sometimes I forget how you analyze every. single. word. So true.

Hmmmm. I find it strange when people think that saying something like "I love you," or defining a relationship, will cause pain if the relationship ends. It's almost as if to say that, without those things occurring, a breakup wouldn't be painful. I don't think anyone really has that kind of control over their emotions. I think feelings get hurt during any breakup. Hell, even when you don't like a guy that much and he dumps you, you think, "What the hell? I'm not worth keeping?"

Anyway, just a thought that ran through my mind this chapter and the last. Very very well written as usual (I hate you).

I like your take on Elizabeth, though different from mine. It wasn't so much Honor Among Thieves that gave me a negative vibe, as it was Emily's other mentions of her mother from time to time. But I could totally buy into this.

Eeek! I love your description here of both the location and Hotch's mood. I haven't been to Lake Erie but as I was reading I could definitely see the lake that I went to every summer growing up.

Good chapter liked how u put in hotch talking to jack about em being his girlfriend. I do like a little more dialogue but this was good to know more of hotch's feelings and him waiting for her arrival

I loved the chapter with Em and her mom people always portray them as hateful towards one another but here u see that her mom does care if emly is happy and wants her to be happy

loved the first chapter, it shows the true side of Hotch, and i can see him trying to enjoy the lake while waiting for emily
