I wonder though if any of the other Senshi is going to try to get him or if they even remember him at all. It would make his fiancee problem seem small after all. And considering the simple fact that older plot bunnies seldom get updated... I'm just really glad right now. The first part seemed like a slight detour, though that's largely because the first chapter was pretty much from Setsuna's and Ranma's perspectives. It still sets up the back history portion well, though, and a shy, demure Setsuna is a rather fun departure for her character. Nice to know that reincarnations aren't carbon copies of the originals, and that a few thousand years would definitely have an effect on Setsuna, particularly in the sense that she'd be much more worldly and bold. Nice take on that characterization there. Not much else I can say at the moment, other than I'm REALLY excited to see this updated after so long, and that I can't wait to see what Setsuna's got in store for Ranma... as well as what all went down between Ranma and Setsuna the *first* time. Beyond Ranma, of course. :P |
