All through ME2, I *knew* Cerberus must have tried reconstruction out on somebody else. I kept waiting to run into something but... we never did.

I liked your fight scene quite a bit. The bit about "Whoever gave humans biotics, she thought, was no friend of the Shepard family" is something I think everyone who has played ME can relate to.

I also really liked the contrast of Paul having the body of a young boy with the face of an old man. It makes me wonder what Shepard's eventual fate will be, since she's so packed with cybernetics, as well as Joker's. Will the drug have potentially terrible effects when he's off of it, even if he does have the Vrolik's cure?

You brought up a lot of interesting parallels and moral quandries that have a big ripple effect in the rest of your story. I just can't wait to see the Illusive Man finally get what's coming to him.

Gah, I wish you'd finish this. You really just had to leave it at such a cliffhanger, didn't you?

I really like this fic for a lot of reasons, the most prevelant being that I wish this was ME2 and that this was Joker's present circumstances. Your Shepard is also very well-rounded in my humble opinion and a genuinely likable character (you don't see many of those around lately). It's also a very lovely ensemble piece and there's a good balance between canon and your expansion in accordance to your additional plot.

Anyhow, your lovely fourteen chapters have successfully distracted me from having to reconcile myself to my least favorite part of Halo: Reach. I don't care what it says on your profile; I really want you to come back to this!

Such a well constructed story. I am glad I've stumbled over it. The ideas are great and I can't wait till another update. Keep up the great work.

Not a lot of chemistry between our two favourite people in this chapter, but I see that you are trying to bring jealousy in for some reason... I would have loved to see how their date went and not just gotten the quick summary. Careful not to skip over the good parts, ok?

I am so loving this! Garrus and Joker have both been favorites of mine, and I am really enjoying the way you are building up the story. Can't wait for the next chapter!
