Review for Ch.'s 1 & 2... I had tears in my eyes as I read what little Dean had been through, it was so sad. I wish fostering and adopting was that easy and quick. Really enjoyed reading your story, can't wait for the next update.

What a fantastic chapter. I was so worried for little Dean, to know that he had found such an awful place to hide, but thank goodness John and Mary found him and that Mary was able to make him feel secure. And Dean is starting to take a liking to John too...it was definitely the right thing to do to shave!

omg poor lil dean what he went through but now he is in a loving home and this story brings memories to me my parents do foster care and i wish i could tell u all the kids that came through our doors and some had a lot of trauma in their lives and right now we have a lil 8 yr old girl who been with us for 4 yrs now and only 1 yr since her mother gave up custody of her to my parents but her dad is trying to fight for her but he wont get her anyway she is getting adopted soon like in may or june and i got to say i love her alot and i dont want anyone to take her from us when we first met her she was shy,and wouldnt talk to anyone but since she been with us she improved alot in the house and in skool even her teachers saw a big improvement in her
