Ick! You sadistic girl! I HATE HEELS! Why does she have to wear heels? What's wrong with normal old boots? Or even tennis shoes, much as they annoy me! Theresa/Artemis is acting...well, no offense, but she's acting like a betch. In Girl Wonder, she was dating Robin, right? As in Tim? I'm seriously starting to question his taste. (Grr...he's engaged...I plan to viciously deny that fact as long as possible. What? Tim? Engaged? What are you talking about? Who's Tam Fox?) If I were Carmela, I'd just wear boots and ignore whatever Theresa said. (Usually the ignore-them-and-do-what-you-want-and-when-they-see -that-it-works-they-respect-you thing works on that type of person.) I wore boots to my cousin's WEDDING once. With a dress. Dresses are equally evil. Grr...die, dresses! Anyway.

This story only improves with time, chapter by chapter. The author's use of the 1st person narrative brings her main character to life but it also gives the impression that the author is living out her own comic book fantasy. That's okay though since her fantasy is a fun one.

The author's greatest strength is dialogue. The interactions between her characters are priceless. The characters pop off the screen and come to life.

The only nitpicky point of contention is that it's hard to picture the Question in the burbs. It's requiring all of my suspension of disbelief on that one.

Hopefully, as the auther grows in confidence and skill, we'll see longer chapters (yea!). Until then, bring me more of Ela and Jess and bring on the bad guys!
