I also love your justifications (on your author page) about why Tryan is (almost) canon, and why Troyella is the biggest mistake ever made. It took me a certain time to understand...*How to say it* the "theme" of it. I mean, I was wondering what would make this different from all the basic Tryans. And then I got it, the "dog" thematic. And then I realized how it suits so well to the situation (Especially when Ryan talks about being his sister's poodle, or as you noticed, the weird comments of Fulton...) : Once more, it convinced me of your fine vision of HSM :D

Oh I like you're Troy he is nice. There were some parts where I was confused on who was doing that action, mainly between Ryan and Troy. Maybe use their names a bit more and he less often.
