I liked it. Nicely written. I love the River/Doctor pairing. There needs to be more of those )

This is truly sweet, and you've managed to capture both characters, which is a bit of a feat, considering the weir chronology inolved. :D In all seriousness, what makes your characterization ring true is the timeless aspects of the Doctor, the adventure and the curiosity and the overall earnestness.
